Visitors to the Vancouver Aquarium can learn about African penguins at the Penguin Point display, where if you are lucky they will swim and waddle on the rocks and up to the glass! Hop into the Amphibian world in the Frogs Forever? exhibit and find out why frogs and toads are important to our lives and learn what we can do to save them. Explore what it would be like to stand in the Amazon tropical rainforest in an awesome re-creation, which includes birds, fish, sloths, frogs, monkeys, and even a huge anaconda snake!
See how the Vancouver Aquarium cares for their dolphins with their show Dolphins which is a live training session. Get a first-hand look at how they conduct their research and watch the trainers bond with the marine mammals. Don’t forget to stop by and visit the sea otters as they always put on a show and are known as the crowd favourite!
Make sure to visit the Vancouver Aquarium’s temporary exhibit, Discover Rays, visitors can have a hands on experience and feel the stingrays as they swim beneath the water.
The Vancouver Aquarium is dedicated to the rescue and rehabilitation of injured and ill marine mammals through The Marine Mammal Rescue Center, located off-site of the Aquarium.
